Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve family financial management capacity to support family health in the Sekar Wangi Women Farmers Group (KWT) in Yogyakarta. The main problems faced by partners include low financial literacy, uncontrolled consumer behavior, and minimal use of family financial recording tools. These conditions impact suboptimal planning and allocation of funds, particularly for family health needs. The activity implementation method uses a participatory approach through financial literacy counseling and training on family budget planning, as well as cash flow overviews. The program emphasizes separating needs from wants, creating a specific allocation for health savings, and regular financial evaluations. The results of the activity indicate an increase in participants' understanding and skills in budgeting, controlling consumer spending, and planning health funds in a more structured manner. Strengthening family financial management contributes to increased financial stability and family readiness to meet health needs both preventively and responsively. This activity recommends ongoing monitoring to ensure consistent financial management practices and the program's sustainable impact on family well-being.
