PEMBUATAN POS PADA UMKM TOKO LINTARO DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN GOOGLE SPREADSHEET DI SLEMAN YOGYAKARTA

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are one of the Indonesian economy supporters, the Government noted that MSMEs contributed around 58% to 61% to the Indonesian economy for 5 years from 2019 to 2024. Surprisingly, government data shows MSMEs that use digital technology in their operations are only 4%, this shows fundamental problems in MSMEs even though they have enormous potential in the Indonesian economy. Lintaro Store is an MSME with a business location in Sleman Yogyakarta that experiences similar obstacles, less systematic operational activities and record keeping that is still based on notebooks. Based on these problems, the creation of a simple Point of Sale (POS) application system will greatly help Lintaro store operations, The store owner was familiar with Microsoft Excel technology, therefore the application was created using Google Spreadsheet so it does not require many adjustments in using Google Spreadsheets for operations. The work time is four months with the first week for interviews and observations, the second week for identifying inventory types as the basis for creating a database, the third week for POS design, the fourth week for handover and training for POS users at the Lintaro store. A week after the POS handover, the owner and buyer began to feel the benefits of using the POS application with the presence of a written physical note and buyers did not have to queue for too long to make payments.
